Materials such as Edging and Moulding are usually priced by length.
The following will price edging material using the material and price set up in the Materials Manager.
This tutorial is based on a single Shelf Standard, with a width of 1000mm and a depth of 500mm. The shelf is edged all around using the edging material 1.0mm Edging.

First access Manager from either the Pricing > Material/Hardware page or Materials-Advanced > Manager page.
Click on the Manage button and select the relevant material and price accordingly. In this example:-
Ensure you have the Carcass ticked on the Pricing/Markups page.
To designate the Sell price you need to set the Level Markup percentages.
To test the effect of this process, run a Quantities report.
Result: The Cost price edging material is calculated as 1m x $0.45 = $0.45+ $0.09 (20% Markup) = $0.54
The above report shows only pricing details pertaining to this tutorial.
Rounding during the calculation process can cause amounts to increase by a few cents.
To calculate Sell price set Markup Percentages per category on the Pricing > Pricing/Markups page.
